Memories...Wisconsin!

The first picture is me with TJ and Brady, kids I babysat some time ago. I started babysitting Brady when he was just 5 months old and look at him now!
The second picture is me with a baby girl (Ally) in my sister's apartment. Isn't she cute!?

The Mountains!!!

We spent the Saturday in the mountains. We went to San Lorenzo-El Escorial. In the picture you see Natascha, Me, and Gabriel. It was truely a perfect day to escape Madrid's busy routine. The "monte" that you see is Monte Abantos. ¡Precioso!

A two-second rest!

We are so happy!

At this point, we were still on the trail...

Perhaps the best part of this trip came after lunch. We had followed the marked trail until the end, but we came back civilization the all-natural way! We weaved our way through the trees, and we climbed everything from rocks to rivers to construction sites!

...I SPY the El Escorial, the Monastery in between those trees..

....and just imagine how clean the air was!...

The sun was shining, the air was clean, the smell was pleasant, the birds were chirping, and the hikers were few....

...It's a shame Heidi never visited this mountain...
